VOIP and the iPod touch

I am exploring using the iPod touch to replace a cell phone while traveling in Europe.
The easiest was to find a way to call out with the iPod touch.
I first registered with JustVoip at http://www.justvoip.com/en/index.html. I downloaded their app from the website into my computer.
Then you can download the free iPhone/iPod app from the Apple Apps store, (search for MobileVOIP) and set up your user name and password.
You will need to put 10 euros in your account, but most of your calls to land line are free of charge for about 3 months. After that they charge 1 or 2 Euro cents per minutes.
Their rates for calling the European Mobiles are 7 or 8 cents per minutes which is very cheap when you compare it with Skype price of 20.3 cents per minutes.
Tomorrow I will discuss how to receive phone calls.
